Peggy Flanagan claims she wants to make children “whole.” If only she’d start with the kids left broken or dead by her own party’s policies. For all the Left’s phony concern about “saving one life,” their record leaves a trail of shattered families, lost futures, and young lives ruined or snuffed out entirely.
Let’s look at the so-called compassion progressives have for kids. When it comes to abortion, Democrat leaders shield their brutality behind buzzwords like “choice” and “healthcare.” They never talk about the millions of babies who never got to draw a breath. Apparently, some lives are more “whole” than others—especially if they’re too small to vote.
If children do survive Democrat policy in the womb, the new target is confused and vulnerable kids—especially the autistic, abused, or those just trying to find their way in the world. The left’s solution is to push drugs to block their bodies’ development, pump them full of hormones, even chop off healthy body parts. They call this “care.” What they don’t show is the regret, the broken families, the children robbed of a normal life—all dismissed as “just a choice.”
Meanwhile, Democrats will climb over each other to blame legal gun owners every time an unstable person—often someone the left itself has coddled or enabled—commits a horrific act. The answer? Take away Americans’ rights, instead of dealing with criminal aliens or mentally unstable offenders. So excuse those of us who don’t believe our safety or freedom should be up for negotiation just because leftist policies keep putting monsters on the streets.
Flanagan and her boss in Minnesota, Tim Walz, have given more shelter and sympathy to criminal illegal aliens than to their own citizens. The list of American children killed or maimed by repeat-offender illegals gets longer every year—kids like Hallie Helgeson, Brady Heiling, Jocelyn Nungaray, and so many others. Young lives wiped out forever, dreams stolen, families destroyed. These deaths were preventable. If our supposed leaders cared more about securing the border than appeasing their globalist donors, these kids would still be alive.
And let’s not forget the disaster of the Covid lockdowns. Democrats forced children—especially minorities and those with special needs—out of classrooms and behind masks, robbing them of education, social life, and normal childhood. The learning loss is permanent. But to the left, kids missing out on life is just the cost of doing the teachers’ unions’ dirty work.
When someone like Peggy Flanagan wrings her hands over a child missing a field trip because law enforcement finally cracked down on illegal immigration, it’s a sick joke. Democrats have created real victims, through open borders, radical gender politics, and unscientific shutdowns. But let’s cry for the poor illegal who can’t tag along this time?
If Democrats are so desperate to “make kids whole,” they should start by looking in the mirror. The blood of countless children is on their hands. Why is it so hard for liberals to stand up for American kids first? Or is that too much to ask from the party of open borders, abortion-on-demand, and endless excuses for criminals?
