Spineless Republicans Side With Democrats to Sabotage Trump’s Justice Pick and Betray Voters

There’s never a dull day in Washington, especially when it comes to the Senate and the games they’re playing with President Trump’s nominees. Case in point: Todd Blanche, tapped to lead the Justice Department, has suddenly become the latest target for “holier-than-thou” grandstanding from weak-kneed Republicans who would rather virtue signal than defend law and order. Instead of focusing on making America safer, some Republicans now want useless pageantry. Their demands are setting up yet another chance for the Left and their establishment allies to sabotage what voters clearly want.

Senator Thom Tillis, who should be packing his bags and enjoying retirement, is now holding Blanche’s nomination hostage—waiting to see if Blanche will jump through hoops and appease the mob. Instead of vetting his qualifications or grilling him about his record, Tillis insists he sit down with victims of Jeffrey Epstein before even considering support. Is this a real test of character or just another tired attempt to showboat for the cameras? Conservatives elected a Senate to confirm good, tough leaders, not to turn confirmation hearings into therapy sessions for media soundbites.

Meanwhile, the Democrats can barely contain their glee. They know that with one or two Republican defectors, they can sink Blanche’s nomination before it even reaches the Senate floor. Notice the pattern here? Libs never hesitate to vote in lockstep, even for the most radical, far-left picks. But weak Republican senators, obsessed with looking “compassionate,” do the Left’s dirty work every time. The globalists love to see the chaos—America’s enemies watch and laugh as we hamstring the very Justice Department tasked with keeping our country secure.

It isn’t just Tillis showing his soft side. Senators like John Cornyn are still sitting on the fence, and Lisa Murkowski or John Curtis could stab conservatives in the back at the last minute, as they’ve done before. Mitch McConnell isn’t even bothering to show up. If the Senate can’t handle confirming a nominee from the President they supposedly support, then what are these senators even doing? America deserves a Justice Department led by someone who will stand for the rule of law—not a compromised bureaucracy forever tied up in knots by career politicians more interested in pleasing the media than standing up for the Constitution.

The country voted for strength, not weakness. People are tired of the emotional games and political kabuki theater. While the Left circles their wagons to stop any real reform, establishment Republicans are still busy tripping over themselves to score woke points on Twitter. Wasn’t the whole point of this election to break the stranglehold of failed leadership in Washington? Or will so-called “Republican” senators keep finding excuses to fold under pressure and hand the Left one win after another?
