When it comes to the radical left and their enablers in the media, there’s no bottom to the shamelessness. Case in point: the liberal talking heads are now actually justifying attempts to assassinate conservative leaders. Last year, a deranged left-wing activist tried to kill Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent just two hours after he was sworn in. The would-be killer brought a knife and Molotov cocktails right to the Capitol, all because he wanted to stop a so-called “Nazi.”
Now, you’d think something as serious as an assassination attempt would unite Americans in outrage. But nope. Instead, leftist “thinkers” use their platforms to make excuses for violence. Their message? If conservatives get attacked, it’s their own fault. They pushed the “wrong” policies, and somehow deserve whatever’s coming. In what world does that logic make sense? Only in the upside-down universe of liberal groupthink, where criminals become victims, and victims get blamed.
It’s more than just jaw-dropping hypocrisy—it’s downright dangerous. When the left feels threatened, they demand tolerance, peace, and “civility.” But turn the tables, and suddenly violence becomes “resistance.” Funny how they always find a way to rationalize their own side’s bad behavior. Their message to the unhinged is simple: if you lose at the ballot box, just grab a weapon and make your own rules.
What’s worse is the media class cheering them on. Mainstream reporters would rather downplay real violence from the left than admit their side is out of control. They treat attempted murder like just another day at the office if it’s happening to a conservative. These are the same elites who rail against “dangerous rhetoric” whenever a Republican tweets the wrong pronoun, but turn a blind eye to leftists making bombs and assassination lists.
Let’s be real: this isn’t about “resistance” or “fighting oppression.” It’s about the left’s fantasy of a world where only they—and their allies—get to decide who lives, who dies, and who gets to run this country. They’re creating a twisted permission slip for violence, all while pretending to be the moral compass of America. It’s the oldest trick in the abuser’s handbook—blame the victim, justify the attack, and act shocked when anyone pushes back.
How long are we going to let leftists set the rules? If they think violence is a game, they’re going to learn that both sides get a turn. Maybe it’s time the right started calling out this nonsense every single time—or else risk letting America turn into a nation ruled by liberal mob justice.
