In a country where religion too often warps the law, three men who murdered a young Christian couple—burned them alive, no less—are now walking free. Pregnant or not, Christian or not, no one deserves to die in terror just because they offended the wrong mob. But apparently, in Pakistan, if the mob claims “blasphemy,” all bets are off.
This is exactly what happens when weak leaders and corrupted courts bend over for violent extremists. Instead of upholding real justice, they let killers go if the killers belong to the right group. Of course, it’s the same tired story: Christians and other minorities are conveniently forgotten, swept under the rug, or treated as disposable. Let’s not pretend this is some isolated crime. Attacks on Christians there happen over and over, and somehow the courts always seem to “lose” their sense of duty when it counts.
The world keeps pretending like Pakistan is a modern, responsible nation. The globalists in D.C. and Brussels keep writing them fat checks and smiling for the cameras. Meanwhile, American taxpayers are forced to support a government that can’t—or won’t—protect the innocent. Where’s the outrage from the liberal elites? They’ll march and shriek at the slightest hint of “Islamophobia” in America, but turn around and zip their lips when Christians are murdered for simply existing. Hypocrisy doesn’t even begin to cover it.
This double standard isn’t just unfair—it’s dangerous. If courts are this broken in Pakistan, what’s to stop this kind of “justice” from spreading wherever globalist interests go? Liberals love to talk about human rights, but only when it fits their narrative. Just try getting a single member of the Squad to speak up for Christian lives lost in foreign nations. Crickets.
No, the truth is ugly and the cowards in charge don’t want to face it: Western leaders cozy up to the worst regimes for the sake of cheap labor, cheap goods, or cheap political points. The blood of that Christian couple—and their unborn child—should be a stain on everyone pretending Pakistan’s court system isn’t rotten from top to bottom. If we let this slide, who’s next?
