Iran’s deputy foreign minister declared with glee that his regime is walking away from the deal hammered out by the Trump administration. Surprise, surprise: The world’s top terror sponsor didn’t keep its word.

While the ink was still wet, Iran unleashed a wave of attacks on American bases in the Gulf. Iranian-backed thugs hit our troops with rockets and ballistic missiles, injuring 13 brave Americans—10 soldiers and three sailors. The regime’s excuse? They’re mad that the U.S. responded to their provocations by targeting Iranian infrastructure. It’s always the same: Iran cries “victim” while launching another attack.

Now, the Biden administration and their pals in the globalist elite will wring their hands and talk about “restraint.” But here’s the brutal truth—they put their faith in a lunchroom pact with terrorist madmen and expected it to stick. The left is obsessed with signing papers, taking photos, and pretending evil men can be talked into being good neighbors. Reality just slapped them in the face. Iran sees American diplomacy as weakness. The mullahs laughed all the way from Tehran to the Strait of Hormuz.

Instead of standing up for America, the talking heads on cable news will blame “tit-for-tat operations” and wring their hands about “escalation.” But it’s simple: If you don’t stand up to Iran, this is what you get—emboldened terrorists, more attacks, and American soldiers left bleeding while the left lectures about “dialogue.” Every time the U.S. trusts Iran, American blood is spilled.

The so-called experts told us the Memorandum of Understanding would bring stability. What did it bring instead? The same old pattern—empty handshakes, broken promises, and American lives put at risk. Iran is testing us, as it always does, because it knows too many in Washington care more about looking good than being strong.
