While elitist media types like Zanny Minton Beddoes at The Economist sit around and talk down to the people trying to change the world, Musk is actually out there doing it.
Let’s be real. The modern media class, led by women with more attitude than information, can toss snarky questions at Musk all day long. But they can’t hide the truth: it’s men like Musk, Bezos, and Jobs who build, invent, and push humanity forward. Their critics, mostly desk jockeys and virtue signalers, haven’t built so much as a lemonade stand. That’s the real “male privilege”—the privilege of sweating, risking it all, and winning.
It’s no wonder so many men admire Musk. The left loves to bash masculinity, but if you strip away the activist jargon, you find that societies still run on male drive. Instead of fighting wars over land, men now fight to build companies, disrupt industries, and, yes, land rockets on moving targets. Meanwhile, the keyboard warriors want us to believe feminism solved everything, yet the loudest voices are still demanding protection from “unwelcome attention.” Which is it—empowered, or helpless and complaining?
Maybe these progressive elite editors and TV personalities should ask themselves: what have they actually created? The world doesn’t need another soy-latte feminist monologue about the patriarchy. It needs more real builders and innovators—people who work through the darkness, ignore the noise, and keep America moving forward. The truth is, while the Zannys of the world sit in judgment, the real action happens in the factories, the labs, and, yes, the launchpads.
Instead of whining about gender roles, maybe the left should ask why their ideological heroes never put a man on the moon—or built a reusable rocket. America isn’t moved by snark. It’s powered by vision, grit, and guts. So, who do you want at the controls: the nagging scolds in fancy magazines, or the man who aims for Mars and expects to win?
