The Left loves to pretend that their “no borders” utopia solves everything, but tragedy just proved—yet again—that their blind faith in multiculturalism comes at a deadly price. In Berlin, a Pride festival turned into horror when an Islamist terrorist plowed his car into the crowd, leaving one dead and dozens hurt. Rather than admit the obvious—importing dangerous ideologies through open borders is a recipe for disaster—progressives tripped over themselves making excuses. Some even twisted themselves into knots to blame Christians, or whined that the attacker wasn’t a white supremacist. Because for progressives, facts are always less important than their tired woke narrative.
It’s the same tired playbook: parade around with “solidarity” for refugees, challenge every basic value Western civilization was built on, and then wring their hands in confusion when the very ideologies they celebrate turn violent against them. Instead of demanding serious answers, progressive outlets tried to erase any mention of radical Islam, spinning the tragedy into another generic “hate crime.” Their solution? Double down on failed ideas, shout slogans, and stick their heads deeper in the sand. Meanwhile, the rest of us see the simple truth—importing people who reject Western values ends exactly like this.
It’s astonishing to watch these so-called champions of “tolerance” celebrate groups like “Queens Against Borders”—groups that push for unlimited immigration and progressive values—then act shocked when those they invite in don’t share their worldview. In Berlin, the irony was on full display when a Syrian refugee led a post-attack dance performance for the very crowd targeted by one of his own countrymen’s ideology. How long will these activists ignore the glaring evidence that not every culture is as “inclusive” as theirs pretends to be?
Look at what’s happening in America’s own backyard. Take Hamtramck, Michigan—a city transformed from Polish Catholic roots into a self-proclaimed progressive haven. The same liberals who cheered for “diversity” were stunned when their Muslim leaders banned the Pride flag and legalized animal sacrifice. For all their pandering, the left can’t grasp that Islam, unlike Christianity, isn’t interested in accommodating lifestyles it considers immoral. Turns out, “inclusivity” isn’t a two-way street.
The facts speak for themselves. Islamist extremists don’t show up with megaphones and Bible verses. They bring carnage. But instead of facing reality, Western elites cling to their suicidal empathy, inviting in wave after wave of people unwilling—or flat-out refusing—to assimilate. The price of delusion is always paid in blood. So here’s the real question: how many more will have to suffer before the left finally admits their multicultural fantasy was always a ticking time bomb?
