There was a time in America when the Constitution actually meant something. Back then, the government stayed in its lane, Americans controlled their own destiny, and judges didn’t act like kings. But all of that changed in 1964, when Washington politicians decided to rewrite the rules with the Civil Rights Act—a law that would smash the bedrock of our founding document and put power in the hands of unelected bureaucrats.
The Founders, especially men like James Madison, created a system designed to brake both mob rule and government overreach. They wanted government out of our lives, protecting freedoms instead of tramping them down. But the left wasn’t content with that. Instead of preserving individual liberty, the 1964 Civil Rights Act handed out collective “rights” and gave the feds a crowbar to pry into every corner of American life.
It started under the noble banner of fighting Jim Crow. But predictably, the left took a sledgehammer to the concept of freedom and never stopped swinging. Suddenly, federal lawyers and activist judges got the final say on everything—where you could eat, who you could hire, what pronoun you used, who bakes your wedding cake, and whether biological men can dominate women’s sports. The left hijacked the notion of civil rights and turned it into a tool for endless social engineering.
They promised the Civil Rights Act wouldn’t mean quotas, forced hiring, or government meddling in private businesses. That’s exactly what happened, and anyone with a brain saw it coming. Now, under the banner of “equity,” the government tells Americans how to run their businesses, colleges, and even their churches. The only group left unprotected is the hard-working, law-abiding, patriotic Americans who built this country—especially if they’re white, Christian, and male.
Judges, most of them groomed in Ivy League echo chambers, now rule from the bench like mini-dictators. Laws passed by the people get thrown out if they don’t fit the left’s agenda. Elections don’t matter when activist courts push woke policies anyway. We’ve replaced the will of the people with the tyranny of a loud, entitled minority.
America’s Old Constitution put the brakes on human excess and government arrogance. The New Constitution—the one liberals forced on us without a single vote—stokes division, breeds resentment, and rewards professional victims. That’s a recipe for chaos, and no nation survives long on that poison. Do we really think this “brave new world” leads anywhere but disaster?
