Once again, the radical left proves there is simply no line they won’t cross in their quest for clicks and chaos. Taylor Lorenz—yes, the same so-called “journalist” who’s bounced from one liberal echo chamber to the next—has now taken it upon herself to gush over Luigi Mangione, an accused murderer, because he’s apparently “handsome.” Liberal priorities, straight out in the open: looks over law and order.
Instead of seeking justice for victims, the left praises good looks and builds fan clubs around criminals. Lorenz’s shameless defense of Mangione’s growing cult following is a slap in the face to every American who believes in right and wrong. But we shouldn’t be surprised. The progressive media has a long, twisted history of glamorizing criminals while demonizing law-abiding citizens.
Where are all the bleeding-heart calls for accountability now? When it’s a “handsome” accused murderer in the spotlight, suddenly the woke mob gets starry-eyed. This is the same crowd that explodes with outrage over mean tweets but leaps to defend violent thugs if they fit the narrative. Apparently, if you pose the right way in a mugshot, the liberal media circus will defend you at all costs.
This isn’t just incompetence—it’s a dangerous message. Elevating accused killers to celebrity status teaches young people that morality doesn’t matter, only image does. It’s the kind of perverse upside-down thinking that’s rotting American values from the inside out. No wonder the average voter tunes out the circus altogether.
If this is real journalism, then we’re in trouble. Maybe next time Lorenz can swoon over a patriot who actually defends this country, instead of peddling sympathies for a suspected criminal. But don’t count on it—after all, these woke elites can’t resist worshipping their latest anti-hero. How many more lines will the left cross before America fights back?
