Two American heroes gave their lives in Texas while Washington ignores their sacrifice

Two brave American soldiers lost their lives in Texas this week, and the mainstream media barely blinked. Chief Warrant Officer 2 Deontre T. Huey and Warrant Officer Seth L. Olmstead, both from Bravo Company in one of America’s most elite Army units, aren’t just names on a press release. They were patriots, part of the 1st Cavalry Division—a legendary force that puts it all on the line for a country that too often takes them for granted.

While elites and anti-military types drink their lattes and tweet about “social justice,” real heroes pay the ultimate price to keep this nation free. Our troops train hard, push themselves beyond the limits, and risk it all—even during peacetime exercises—to hold our Republic together. Yet, under today’s liberal leadership, defense budgets are slashed, priorities get twisted, and our warriors find themselves stretched thin as the White House pours billions into foreign handouts and radical pet projects.

America’s finest deserve better than buzzwords and empty slogans. The deaths of these helicopter pilots in Texas should be a wake-up call. For years, globalist games and progressive policies have hollowed out our armed forces. The Pentagon’s own reports show aging equipment and supply shortages hitting combat units nationwide. But the left only cares about pushing woke politics onto military training—while our soldiers simply want the tools and respect they need to do the job.

Chief Warrant Officer Huey and Warrant Officer Olmstead didn’t spend their days protesting in the streets or rewriting textbooks. They showed up, suited up, and did the work that liberals love to ignore—protecting the homeland from enemies, both foreign and domestic. It’s time politicians followed their example instead of looking for ways to appease China, coddle bureaucrats, or dismantle the Warrior Spirit that made this nation exceptional.

Two American families are grieving today because this country still produces heroes, thank God. But will their sacrifice mean anything if our leaders keep putting America last? Maybe it’s time Washington starts defending its own before it preaches to the world about “values.” Or are we going to keep letting anti-American nonsense fly, while the people who defend liberty pay the cost?
