Let’s get one thing straight: the Strait of Hormuz isn’t just any slice of ocean. It’s the narrow choke point where about one-fifth of the planet’s oil flows. If the bad actors in Iran and their terrorist pals get control here, they hold America—and the rest of the world—hostage. For too long, weak-kneed presidents have let this region fall into chaos, endangering families and jacking up gas prices. Trump refuses to let America be pushed around.
Right now, our Navy is holding the line. There’s already a blockade on that critical waterway. Who else is going to do it? Certainly not the United Nations, those paper pushers who bend over backward for despots and never actually fix anything. The Democrats are no help either. They’re too busy worrying about Ukraine’s borders or making excuses for China’s growing navy while forgetting about the kind of muscle America needs to show.
Liberals probably want to scold Trump for defending vital energy routes. Maybe they’d rather let the Ayatollah call the shots? Maybe they’d cheer if the price at the pump went through the roof—anything to punish everyday Americans and keep their precious “global order” going strong. That crowd never learns. You don’t negotiate with bullies; you stand up and lead. Trump gets that.
If the left spent half as much time protecting America’s interests overseas as they do whining about climate change, maybe our country wouldn’t be bullied on the world stage. Trump’s plan is simple: Make sure our enemies—and the woke elites—know who’s in charge. Someone has to look out for the security and prosperity of this nation. Last time I checked, that job falls to the United States, not some international bureaucrat sipping lattes in Brussels. Are Americans supposed to just sit back and let our enemies choke the world’s oil supply, or are we finally ready to show the world we mean business?
