Massachusetts liberals have outdone themselves again, racing to the bottom of moral decency. This week, they pushed through a shocking new abortion law so extreme that even some Democrats couldn’t stomach it. Yes, that’s right—nine Democrats broke ranks, refusing to support a bill that allows an innocent baby’s life to be ended just moments before birth. Think about how far gone things have to be for even today’s radical Democratic Party to see this law as a step too far.
America barely recognizes itself as blue states try to one-up each other with ever more twisted policies in the name of “progress.” Where’s the compassion for the most vulnerable? Massachusetts lawmakers showed none. Instead, they have handed activists essentially unlimited license to destroy life right at the last possible second. These babies aren’t just clumps of cells; they are real, living humans, only seconds away from their first breath. Apparently, that doesn’t matter to these so-called champions of “rights.”
Let’s call this law what it is: barbaric. The fact that nearly every Democrat backed it, with only a handful daring to dissent, tells you everything you need to know about today’s progressive left. If they’re willing to kill a baby while its head is crowning, what boundaries are left? There’s no “safe, legal, and rare” here—just cold, ruthless ideology. This isn’t compassion. It’s cruelty dressed up as healthcare.
Of course, the liberal media and their globalist allies refuse to shine a light on how out-of-touch and anti-family these laws are. They’d rather distract with phony “rights” talk than answer the hard questions: what about the rights of those children, right on the verge of life? But that’s the left for you—if it fits their narrative, truth goes out the window, and common sense is the first casualty.
How long will Americans stay silent while our nation’s leaders sell out morality on the altar of radical politics? When even members of their own party can’t defend this insanity, maybe it’s time for liberals to admit they’ve gone way too far. At this point, you have to ask: If these lawmakers won’t stand up for a baby about to be born, what won’t they sacrifice for their progressive agenda?
