Liberal city leaders in Los Angeles have truly outdone themselves this time. Instead of helping the homeless get back on their feet, they are flushing taxpayer dollars down the drain, handing out drug kits right in the middle of Skid Row. Taxpayers work hard for their money, and it shouldn’t be used to bankroll the addictions keeping people trapped on the streets. Is this what progress means now—government-sponsored drug use right out in the open?
Anyone with common sense can see this is a disaster. Liberals call it “harm reduction,” but what’s really happening is pure enablement. Free drug supplies mean more overdoses, more dependency, and more chaos. Don’t tell families raising kids in Los Angeles that they need to accept open-air drug dens as just part of city life. This is supposed to be America, not a failed social experiment.
It’s no wonder patriotic Americans have had enough. The Trump administration moved to get tough on homelessness, aiming for accountability and real results—not feel-good slogans and endless handouts. In blue-run cities like LA, politicians would rather protect their failed policies than actually lift people up. Meanwhile, ordinary families are the ones paying the price in higher taxes, lower safety, and neighborhoods overrun by misery.
Even worse, the globalist elites and nonprofit grifters line their pockets while pretending to “care.” They talk about compassion, but their big plans only create more addicts and fewer solutions. Maybe that’s just how the system is designed—to keep these bureaucrats and activists in jobs while making Americans feel powerless in their own cities.
It’s time for some real leadership. Americans want safe cities, clean streets, and a government that puts citizens first. Enough coddling criminals and funding destruction. Why do we accept politicians who side with chaos over common sense? There’s only one answer: we shouldn’t.
