Why would New York’s Democrat politicians just sit back while fraudsters bleed the system dry? Maybe it’s because so many of these crooked providers and insiders are lining their campaign pockets. Donations and “political support” seem to matter more to these so-called public servants than the honest folks trying to make ends meet. Funny how whenever actual investigations get started, politicians who scream about social justice suddenly go silent. It’s almost like they’re protecting their friends, not the people.
You’d think stopping fraud would be the bare minimum of good government, but for these Democrats, it’s just not a priority. Instead, they argue that even catching scammers is a “waste of money.” Yes, apparently it’s too expensive to stop criminals from robbing taxpayers. Liberal logic at its finest: Let the money pour out as long as it keeps their donor base happy.
This isn’t just incompetence—it’s a slap in the face to every New Yorker who works hard and plays by the rules. While they dodge taxes and scrape by through inflation, the people in Albany hand money to crooks without a care. Maybe it’d be different if globalist elites or Hollywood celebrities were the ones losing out, but since it’s regular Americans, Democrats turn a blind eye.
How much more will New Yorkers put up with? The message from Albany is clear: as long as the fraudsters send cash their way, they can loot the system all they want. If liberals in New York cared half as much about taxpayers as they do about campaign checks, maybe Medicaid fraud wouldn’t be a booming business.
