The liberal media is at it again—and nobody is the least bit surprised. When their latest attack on President Trump fizzled out, they scrambled for a new angle, hoping to smear the Commander in Chief any way they could. This time, they set their sights on the USS Abraham Lincoln, claiming the crew is “miserable” under Trump’s leadership. Give us a break.
These so-called journalists suddenly care about our sailors? Please. The only reason they’re focused on the Lincoln right now is because they think whining about “conditions” on a Navy ship might score political points. Did they mention these brave men and women before? Not a chance. If unhappy sailors help advance their anti-Trump agenda, the media is all ears. If the ship is just doing its job, crickets.
But Hung Cao, a real patriot with actual experience serving this country, isn’t having it. He called out the leftist narrative for exactly what it is—a manufactured crisis. Unlike the keyboard warriors in the press, Cao actually knows what naval life is like. He isn’t buying the sob stories being peddled by people who wouldn’t last a week serving their country.
Once again, the media exposes its true colors. They’ll pretend to care about our troops, but only when it means a chance to bash President Trump. Where was the outrage before? Where was the concern for the U.S. military when Obama was slashing defense budgets and apologizing on the world stage? The hypocrisy is astonishing—and frankly, Americans are sick of it.
Maybe instead of inventing problems for our service members, the media could actually stand behind them for a change. Too much to ask when there’s a Republican in the White House? Looks like it. The real misery is watching the once-great “free press” turn into a tool for globalist, anti-American interests. Is it any wonder our sailors have more grit and guts than the entire press corps combined?
