For years, the elites and their lapdog media pushed the fairy tale that some places were immune to the horrors the rest of the world faces. They told us Hong Kong was different. Safe. A sparkling city where violence like this could never happen. Guess what? They were wrong—again.
It turns out that even Hong Kong isn’t off-limits to radical jihadists. The so-called experts didn’t even bother to mention it. The mainstream press ignored this attack. They swept it under the rug, afraid it might shatter their fantasy that evil doesn’t exist outside the West. Was it really too much for them to admit that a city once seen as a safe haven is now the latest front in this global fight?
Meanwhile, liberals carry on pretending that borders don’t matter and that ideology is never the cause—just society or economics, or whatever excuse is trendy that week. They’ll lecture regular people about tolerance and diversity, but they’re the first to run and hide when things like this actually happen. This is what you get when globalists and bureaucrats turn a blind eye to the dangers many of us have been warning about for years.
People everywhere are sick of being told to shut up when they voice their fears about safety and Islamism. Every time another city falls victim, the media acts shocked—until the next time, when they simply ignore it. If this is what passes for progress in today’s world, it’s time to start demanding real answers from the self-appointed moral guardians who keep getting it so wrong.
How many more cities will have to watch their peace shattered before the left takes its head out of the sand? Maybe they should spend a little less time lecturing us and a little more time facing reality. Hong Kong joins the list now. Who’s next?
