Two politicians from opposite sides of the spectrum have finally found something they agree on—putting foreigners before everyday Americans. Republican Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and New York’s socialist darling, Zohran Mamdani, are singing the same tune as they hand out compassion to migrants and leave law-abiding citizens out in the cold. Instead of standing up for the people who actually elected them, these leaders are busy pleading with President Trump to halt the return of Haitian migrants back to their home country.
This isn’t some rare moment of bipartisanship we should celebrate. It’s just another episode of America-last politics, this time starring both the establishment right and the radical left. Regular Americans are struggling to make ends meet. Crime is up, jobs are shaky, and families are already straining under inflation. Yet here we have supposed leaders lobbying for more open borders and ignoring the citizens crying out for help. It’s shameful.
The hypocrisy is breathtaking. These politicians love to tell us how much they care about “the people,” but when push comes to shove, their real loyalty is to globalist interests. Maybe they think it’s fashionable to look compassionate on the world stage, but who’s protecting the folks back home? While American kids are stuck in crumbling schools and veterans fight for scraps at the VA, the political class rolls out the red carpet for migrants.
People say elections have consequences, and this is what it looks like—being sold out by both the swampy old guard and fresh-faced socialists. The message is clear: if you’re an American citizen, don’t expect your own government to fight for you. Instead, expect empty promises and virtue signaling, while your tax dollars and neighborhood security get sacrificed on the altar of open borders.
Real Americans see through this act. Voters are sick of politicians bending over backward for everyone but their own community. When will our leaders finally put citizens first? Or is loving your country now considered outdated in the halls of government?
