It’s not every day you see a pop icon doing what more politicians should have the guts to do: stand up against evil. Boy George, a name people usually tie to glitzy music and outrageous fashion, just showed more spine than most of Hollywood and all of the D.C. elite combined. He recently honored the victims of October 7—acts of terror most leftists are still busy apologizing for or simply ignoring.
While celebrities trip over themselves to virtue signal for every woke cause under the sun, here’s someone who actually noticed the suffering of real victims. It shouldn’t take a British singer to remind Americans what common decency looks like. Yet the left stays silent, too busy protecting their globalist pals and making excuses for savagery abroad.
The leftwing media loves to act like only certain lives matter, twisting every tragedy into a narrative that fits their anti-American agenda. They ignore attacks like the one on October 7, or worse, pretend the attackers are somehow justified. It’s sickening to see how quickly compassion evaporates when the victims don’t fit their preferred ideology.
Meanwhile, regular people—many of them, as seen in fiery letters published for the world to see—still recognize right from wrong. Folks from all walks of life are disgusted by the appeasement, double standards, and cold indifference of the liberal elite. They look at Boy George and see the kind of straightforward moral clarity that’s sorely missing from our so-called leaders.
So who’s really leading? Not the spineless politicians or the out-of-touch celebrities bowing down to the Twitter mob. Apparently, you need an ’80s pop star to set the moral compass straight. Maybe it’s time our “leaders” grew a backbone. Or are they too busy polishing their woke credentials to care when innocent people are slaughtered?
