Karoline Leavitt just made a decision that should be celebrated: she’s leaving her post as White House press secretary to focus on her family after having her second child. This is the kind of choice that used to make Americans proud. A young, successful woman putting her children and her marriage before the demands of a relentless, thankless job. But somehow, that’s not good enough for the liberal media, especially its self-appointed hall monitor, Jen Psaki.
Instead of offering congratulations and respecting Leavitt’s personal choice, Psaki and her left-wing choir are back to their tired game—policing values, smearing anyone who dares break from their radical script. The left talks a big game about “choice,” but the second a conservative woman actually makes one, the attacks start flying. If you supported her, you’re out of step with elite, coastal progressives who look down their noses at real American priorities.
Let’s be clear: Leavitt’s decision is a slap in the face to the D.C. establishment. She’s walking away from the insular, arrogant political bubble to raise her children. That terrifies liberals because it’s a reminder that family, faith, and responsibility still matter to millions outside of their echo chamber. Karoline Leavitt didn’t ask for permission from the so-called “strong women” of MSNBC and CNN to live life on her terms.
Of course, we have Jen Psaki, the queen of sanctimony, swooping in like a self-anointed moral referee. Only in the upside-down world of the Biden crowd is it controversial when a woman wants to be a present parent. To Psaki, family values are a dog whistle, not a blessing. She sets herself up as the judge of right and wrong, ignoring the mountain of incompetence and hypocrisy coming straight from the left’s own playbook. They want to have it both ways: talk up “female empowerment,” unless it’s conservative women making bold choices.
This is what happens when globalist interests, woke mob pressure, and anti-American groupthink take over D.C. They attack ordinary people for living out the traditional values that made this country great. Maybe it’s time to ask: who made Jen Psaki the arbiter of right and wrong in America—or is she just another mouthpiece for an agenda that hates what we stand for?
