The video says it all: this wasn’t a Hollywood movie. It’s what happens when you pair American courage with the backbone built into our armed forces.
The pilot didn’t just parachute down to safety. He practically appeared out of nowhere on a rural road, dazed but alive, facing local authorities instead of disaster. Folks in cities will never get it, but that moment—boots on the ground, in the middle of nowhere—shows the real spirit of our country. Not hiding behind Zoom calls or diversity seminars, but facing death so that we can sleep soundly at night.
It’s sickening to think that while this Marine risked everything, the political class is nickel-and-diming our military at every corner. Liberals love to talk about “defunding,” thinking every dollar would be better spent on their latest pet project instead of on the men and women who actually defend freedom. How about some respect for the Marines, instead of another useless lecture about privilege or “global cooperation”?
And let’s not forget how the media and Democrats would rather obsess over gender pronouns or climate change than give real coverage to what actually matters.
