America’s food industry is drowning in chemicals, and hardly anyone in charge seems to care. While European countries protect their citizens by limiting the number of food additives, we’re living in a nation where over 10,000 unpronounceable ingredients sneak their way onto our family dinner tables. Across the Atlantic, Europeans are making do just fine with a mere 400 food ingredients. Why do Americans, the most advanced society on earth, need 25 times as many? The answer is as ugly as the label on your diet soda: profit, government laziness, and leftist globalist meddling.
Let’s get real. At every turn, liberals lecture us on “health” and “safety.” They love to wag their fingers about sugar, salt, or whatever the scaremonger flavor of the week is. But when it comes to the toxic soup actually hiding in our processed foods, they’re silent — or worse, complicit. Big corporations rake in billions by pumping our food supply full of chemicals no ordinary person can even pronounce. Meanwhile, the so-called experts and Democrat bureaucrats hand out rubber-stamp approvals like candy. Where’s the outrage from the so-called party of the people?
Europeans haven’t fallen for this con job. Their governments stand up to Big Food, shutting the door on thousands of unnecessary additives. Their citizens are treated to food that’s actually, well, food. Not a Frankenstein mix of junk. Why aren’t American leaders demanding the same standards for us? Instead of defending our families, D.C. elites kowtow to megacorporations and globalist interests that see Americans as lab rats, not people.
And let’s not forget, this isn’t about government overreach — it’s about government neglect. Instead of getting back to basics and protecting our most basic necessity, our leaders are busy fiddling with climate change schemes and identity politics. They’d rather regulate what kind of stove you cook on or what pronoun you use than what you’re actually eating. It’s embarrassing.
America used to set the gold standard, not settle for chemical sludge approved by clueless bureaucrats. Isn’t it time we started asking why the rest of the world gets clean food while we get corporate leftovers? Maybe, just maybe, our so-called “progress” is actually poisoning us. How much longer will conservatives sit back and let liberals feed us to the wolves?
