Once again, Texas is under fire for daring to keep America’s Christian roots alive. This time, Senate Bill 10 is in the spotlight, pushing public schools to display the Ten Commandments in every classroom. And, right on cue, the woke left is storming the courthouse, clutching their ACLU playbooks and pretending the Constitution is their personal weapon. They claim this law is some grave violation. In reality, it’s the bold restoration of exactly what our Founders intended—God at the center of American life.
Liberals love to twist the First Amendment, screaming about “separation of church and state” as if Thomas Jefferson wrote those words in neon paint across the Capitol. But the truth is, our nation was founded on the Bible’s values. The Declaration of Independence literally says our rights come from the Creator—not from bureaucrats in DC or activists in black robes. If it’s so outrageous to post “Thou Shall Not Kill” or “Honor Thy Father and Mother” for schoolkids, maybe the problem isn’t the law but the left’s utter allergy to morals.
Twice now, anti-American groups have sued Texas over something as innocent and fundamental as the Ten Commandments. Isn’t it funny how these folks bend over backwards for drag queen story hour and flag-burning, but freak out at the sight of some ancient wisdom on a classroom wall? Their real goal isn’t “freedom”—it’s forcing their own anti-religious bias on everyone else.
Texas leaders and common-sense Americans see straight through this charade. They know this is about passing on basic, time-tested values to the next generation. Liberals are terrified that if kids actually read the Ten Commandments, they might—gasp—start believing in right and wrong again. That would threaten the entire modern leftist agenda: chaos, confusion, and the erasing of America’s true identity.
What are the leftists so scared of? Maybe they’re afraid that with some clear moral guidance, today’s youth won’t fall for globalist lies and radical propaganda. Maybe that’s why, out of all the problems in public schools, the Ten Commandments is what triggers them most. Texans aren’t backing down, and neither should anyone who still believes in this country’s founding truths. If the Ten Commandments don’t belong in American classrooms, what does?
