Denver bans gas stoves leaving restaurants and small businesses out in the cold

Liberals are cheering this as some big victory for the planet. Meanwhile, small business owners and restaurants—the heart and soul of the city—are left high and dry.

This ruling hands a win to far-left groups like the Sierra Club, who joined Denver’s leaders in their crusade against affordable energy. For years, these globalist activists have tried to strip away freedoms in the name of “climate justice.” They want to control what you eat, how you cook, and how warm your house gets. Now, they’re celebrating while chefs and entrepreneurs are stuck paying more, jumping through hoops, or closing up shop altogether.

It’s nothing but classic liberal hypocrisy. City elites are patting themselves on the back claiming they’re “saving the earth.” But it’s ordinary folks who get slapped with the costs, not the politicians who jet away to fancy conferences. Restaurants—many still reeling from COVID lockdowns—are being forced to gut their kitchens and invest in expensive, unreliable electric appliances.
