That’s the kind of real leadership this country is desperate for today.
But let’s be honest. Liberals in LA love to talk about “community investment” and “social justice.” Yet when it comes to getting their hands dirty and actually investing in the neighborhoods they supposedly care about, they’re nowhere to be found. Either they’re spending taxpayer money on pet projects that crumble in months, or they’re rolling out the red carpet for foreign investors who don’t care about American values. Meanwhile, crime keeps climbing and families get pushed out.
Caruso is living proof that you don’t need another empty promise from City Hall. What you need is someone with guts and a love for this country. Instead of running to globalist partners or pushing for new taxes, Caruso put his own resources into making the Palisades better. He’s restoring a time-honored American tradition—leaders building up their own communities. Not with woke speeches, but with real bricks and mortar.
Funny how the elite love to bash capitalism—unless it’s foreign money inflating their real estate values. But when a proud American like Caruso steps up, they roll their eyes. Why? Because guys like him show how much liberal leadership has failed. People don’t want high taxes, broken promises, and rising crime. They want someone who believes in Main Street values, not globalist talking points.
It shouldn’t take a billionaire to remind our leaders how to serve their own people. LA could use a thousand more Carusos—and a thousand fewer career politicians wasting our money on failed projects. Maybe then, the city will finally stand for something again. Or is that too much to ask in Gavin Newsom’s California?
