Job Carnage in California Exposed Major Brand Flees as Liberal Policies Push Families to the Brink

California can’t stop bleeding jobs—and it’s painfully obvious why. Another major company, an apparel brand that once called the Golden State home, has thrown in the towel and moved its headquarters all the way to Texas. The CEO didn’t bother sugarcoating it: doing business in California is a nightmare, plain and simple. Can you blame him? Who wants to pay sky-high taxes, wade through useless regulations, or put up with woke politicians more interested in virtue signaling than economic sanity?

Liberal leaders love to crow about “equity” and “progress,” but what they’re really achieving is a mass exodus of jobs and opportunity. California could be a land of opportunity. Instead, it’s become a cautionary tale. Businesses are sick and tired of being punished for trying to succeed. While Sacramento politicians play games and chase globalist dreams, everyday Americans pay the price—either through higher prices, lost jobs, or by simply moving away.

Texas, meanwhile, rolls out the red carpet for entrepreneurs. Lower taxes, fewer regulations, and actual appreciation for job creators. That’s why companies are ditching California in droves. The Lone Star State isn’t perfect, but at least it doesn’t treat business owners like criminals for daring to make a profit. It’s no wonder Texans are welcoming them with open arms. Maybe it’s the Southern hospitality, or maybe it’s just plain old common sense—something missing in the Golden State’s halls of power.

You’d think Sacramento would learn, but the left is too proud to admit failure. Instead of owning up to their disastrous policies, they blame “greedy” companies for leaving. News flash: if you make it impossible to earn an honest living, businesses will walk. And let’s not forget—the politicians who drove companies out collect their paychecks, while hard-working Americans get pink slips. That’s liberal hypocrisy in a nutshell.

How many more families have to pack up, how many more jobs have to disappear, before California’s leaders wake up? Unfortunately, under left-wing rule, sensible change is about as likely as snow in Los Angeles. Maybe it’s time California’s politicians ask themselves: if their state is so great, why is everyone running for the exit?
