Wokeness doesn’t save lives. It destroys them. The tragic story of Jason Arday is the clearest proof yet. Here was a man handed fame, glory, and a “career” by the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion machine—instead of real achievement, real merit, or real accomplishment. The “cult of woke” idolized him, used him as a symbol, and cheered every empty word he spoke. But when it counted, this army of professional activists and liberal institutions did nothing to save him from the pressure their own system created.
Liberals love to talk about compassion, but what did their compassion do for Arday? The academics, bureaucrats, and globalists cheered as they shoved him onto every panel, invited him to every stageshow, and loaded him with every loaded question. They didn’t care about Jason—the person. They cared about ticking boxes for their own resumes and getting applause from the crowd. Arday became a brand, a poster child for their new religion of identity politics. His real struggles were swept under the rug.
The DEI racket worships skin color, not character. Genuine talent is kicked aside to make way for token hires who just fit a quota. This helps no one—not the so-called beneficiaries, not the people who actually earned their place, not the schools or businesses who buy into the lie. Arday got all the headlines, but beneath it all, he was stuck in a world of artificial praise and fake progress.
There’s a sick joke at work here. The same people who claim to care about justice and equality are pushing a system that turns human beings into mascots. Arday became a pawn in a cynical game. When woke politics are the foundation, nobody wins. Not the black scholars, not the white ones, not anybody. The result is tragic—a life sacrificed at the altar of liberal dogma and self-serving “inclusion.”
How many more victims will the Left create before America wakes up? The cult of DEI isn’t just silly. It’s deadly. When will our leaders admit that worshipping fake gods of identity and division helps no one and hurts everyone?
