Donald Trump can’t take a step without the left-wing media trying to trip him up. There he was, honoring a young lifeguard and the boy he rescued in Santa Cruz—genuinely good news by any sane measure. But the circus at CNN had bigger plans. Their reporter, instead of letting a nice story stand, had to fire off a pointless question about Natalie Harp, a Trump staffer who’d been smeared by Democrats. That’s liberal journalism today: forget the facts, just sling enough mud and hope it sticks.
But Trump wasn’t having it. Again, he slapped down their nonsense, refusing to play along with their tired script. The liberal media’s favorite tactic is to throw around disgusting rumors and act shocked when someone dares call them out. Senator Jon Ossoff led the circus this time, making sleazy suggestions straight out of the Democrat playbook. Hypocrisy doesn’t even begin to cover it. The left is obsessed with projecting their own scandals onto their enemies while ignoring the skeletons rattling in their own closet.
Look at the Democrats. They’re the last people who should be pointing fingers about inappropriate relationships. Their track record on that front is legendary—and not in a good way. From White House interns to staffers and beyond, their party has made a mess out of professional boundaries for decades. Yet, here they are, pretending to be the guardians of morality.
Meanwhile, CNN gets bent out of shape when Trump doesn’t roll over. They can’t stand that he pushes back and doesn’t crumble under their pressure. That’s what drives them crazy: he won’t let them control the conversation. They’re so desperate to take down Trump that they’ll ignore any real news, mock heroism, and peddle wild accusations.
The American people see what’s going on. The left plays dirty, the media plays along, and when they get called out, they cry foul. Maybe it’s time the left took a good, hard look in the mirror. Or, maybe they’re just afraid of what they’d see.
