Once again, the Democrats in Congress are dusting off their favorite useless playbook. This time, they’re making noise about another war powers resolution after President Trump turned up the heat on America’s enemies and threatened to bomb Oman. Seriously? The left just can’t stand it when a strong leader draws a line in the sand instead of rolling over for foreign thugs.
These so-called “resolutions” have become the left’s favorite stunt, and everyone knows they’re basically worthless. They’re all for show—nothing but political theater to make it look like they actually care about America’s safety. While President Trump takes bold action to keep America safe, Democrats do what they do best: complain, protest, and tie his hands at every turn.
The hypocrisy is mind-blowing. When weak liberals like Obama bend over backward to appease countries like Iran, the left cheers on the globalist parade. But when a president dares to stand up to terror regimes and takes our security seriously, the Democrats throw a temper tantrum. They’ll invent any excuse to undermine him—even if it means putting America last.
You have to wonder who they’re really working for. These Democrat stunts don’t protect America. They don’t help our troops or keep us out of harm’s way. All they do is send a big, blinking signal to our enemies that Congress would rather play games than back up the Commander-in-Chief. Every time they try this, they’re showing the world that they’d rather score cheap political points than see their own country win.
Maybe that’s what the left wants: a weak America, held back by endless committee meetings and hollow resolutions. While they pontificate and virtue-signal, real Americans are looking for leadership and strength. If Democrats spent half as much time supporting this country as they do attacking our president, maybe our enemies would actually learn to fear us. But don’t hold your breath—America deserves better than these spineless sideshows.
