Trans Assassin Plot Barely Punished—Proof Elites Will Do Anything to Protect Their Woke Agenda

There was a time in America when an attempted assassination plot, especially against a top government leader, would be met with the full force of law. Not anymore. This week, Americans witnessed yet another shocking example of double standards and “woke” justice infecting our courts. Riley Jane English—a transgender individual whose birth name is Ryan Michael English—was just handed a laughably light sentence of 63 months in prison after being convicted in a plot to target U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. Prosecutors pushed for nearly double that. But the judge? Clearly more concerned with appeasing leftwing activists than actually punishing a criminal.

You don’t have to be a legal scholar to see what’s happening here. If the roles were reversed—if a conservative Christian had tried to take out a Biden official—there’s zero chance the result would be the same. The media would demand life behind bars, headlines would scream about “domestic terrorism,” and the Justice Department would use the moment as fuel for more attacks on patriots everywhere. But when it’s a transgender activist, suddenly the rules change. Suddenly, “compassion” and “understanding” become the priority.

It’s no accident. The radical left has built an entire system that coddles their preferred identities and punishes Americans who dare to challenge their agenda. They claim to support equality, but justice in 2025 is anything but equal. Their “diversity and equity” mantra is just a smokescreen to excuse violent criminal behavior, so long as it serves their ideological goals. It’s no wonder so many Americans feel betrayed and furious.

The globalist elites and their handpicked judges are sending a loud message: if you check the correct political boxes, the rules don’t apply. This double standard is not just unfair—it’s downright dangerous for the country. If high-profile assassination plots are treated like minor slip-ups, what does that say to actual criminals? What message does it send to average Americans trying to follow the law while our institutions rot from inside?

How much longer will we tolerate a system that rewards law-breaking, so long as it’s politically protected? Where’s the outrage from the so-called “progressive” leadership? How long before justice means nothing at all?
