Cuba is teetering on the edge, and it’s about time. Americans have watched the brutal dictatorship in Havana trample on basic rights for decades. Yet, leftist politicians and their media friends here at home always find some twisted way to defend the failed socialist experiment. Now, the rotten regime is facing heat like never before. Even experts admit this could be the closest Cuba’s rulers have ever come to losing their iron grip.
Socialism always promises hope but delivers only poverty, fear, and broken dreams. Just look at the empty shelves, crumbling buildings, and desperate citizens begging for food. Yet, liberals still treat the Cuban regime like a fairy tale of “people power,” conveniently ignoring what happens in the real world. Maybe now, as the regime shakes, they’ll finally face the disaster their big-government fantasies create.
What’s happening in Cuba should be a wake-up call for anyone flirting with socialism in the United States. Decades of government control have left the Cuban people suffering while party elites enjoy luxury. That’s how every “workers’ paradise” actually works. Meanwhile, globalist elites and anti-American activists cheer from cushy offices, never bothering to see the misery they support.
America must keep a close eye on Cuba now more than ever. If the regime topples, a real chance for freedom could finally reach the island. But of course, expect liberals to wring their hands and spew nonsense about “stability” and “dialogue” instead of backing real liberty for the Cuban people. Their hypocrisy knows no limits.
While the Biden administration stands around looking confused, the rest of us can see the truth. Socialism is sinking in Cuba, and good riddance. When will liberals finally admit that big government doesn’t lift people up—it crushes them?
