America’s borders are in chaos, and it’s time people woke up to the consequences. Another major incident just hit home, making it impossible to ignore how broken our immigration system really is. This time, it was a professional baseball coach—Oswaldo Pirela—working with the San Diego Padres organization, who got stopped and detained by ICE at a Texas airport. Let’s be clear: this didn’t happen in some back alley or remote desert border crossing. This happened inside an airport, on U.S. soil, broad daylight. How many more examples do Americans need to see before the laws get enforced like they were meant to be?
The left keeps insisting that our agencies go soft on border control and ignore the mess at the southern line. But when ICE actually does its job, suddenly the media and the liberal elite want to look the other way or, worse, paint the authorities as villains. It’s a classic move—turn every case of law enforcement into an “injustice” and cheer for more open borders. But Americans who play by the rules are tired of being told to sit down and accept the lawlessness.
People love to talk about “compassion” and “inclusion” until it comes to respecting the actual laws of this nation. The fact is, when someone like Pirela—no matter his title or status—ends up detained by ICE, it means something went wrong in the system well before he even got to coaching. Maybe someone somewhere thought his paperwork didn’t matter. Maybe he got a free pass because he worked for a fancy sports franchise. For years, globalist interests and leftist politicians have chipped away at accountability, letting people slip through the cracks if they can help their bottom line or serve as a poster child for their failed policies.
Meanwhile, regular Americans are the ones who end up paying the price. We’re told to trust the process, but the only thing we’re really seeing is chaos. El Paso is ground zero for this border disaster, and yet, whenever enforcement actually happens, Democrats cry foul and demand special treatment. Where is that outrage when everyday citizens or veterans get tangled in red tape? No, it only matters when it’s someone with connections to big business or celebrity perks.
Americans want to know who’s really in charge— Washington, D.C. bureaucrats pushing endless loopholes, or the lawful citizens who expect rules to apply to everyone, equally, every time? If liberals are so eager to erase the border, maybe they should give up their gated communities first. Until then, law and order better start in our airports and our borders—or soon they won’t exist at all.
