Jewish voters revolt in Michigan as Democrats lose support to rising conservative star

Something strange is happening in Michigan politics—and it exposes the deep cracks in the Democrat Party. Jewish voters have long leaned left, but that loyalty is now being tested like never before. Why? Because Democrats, both in Michigan and around the country, have allowed antisemitism to fester while inviting in new voices who seem more interested in pushing radical agendas than in standing up for America’s core values.

Take a look at the latest move from the Jewish Federation of Detroit. They’re throwing their support behind Mike Rogers, a strong conservative. Why? Because they know exactly where their interests are safest. The Democrat Party, once a so-called big tent, has turned into an echo chamber for woke leftists and apologists for anti-Jewish hate. Jewish Americans are waking up. The party that once courted their votes now gives cover to their enemies.

Even Abdul El-Sayed, a prominent Michigan Democrat, has started backpedaling. Suddenly, he’s trying to convince Jewish Michiganders that he respects Jews and Judaism. Too little, too late. When Democrat leaders need to make desperate gestures, you know they’ve lost the trust of their own base. Democrats thought they could bring in hard-left, even Islamist, activists without consequences. Instead, they’ve made clear that Jews who cherish safety and freedom no longer have a home among the so-called progressives.

It’s infuriating to watch the left pretend they have the moral high ground when they overlook, excuse, or just plain enable antisemitism within their own ranks. Where is the outrage from the party of “tolerance” and “diversity” when Jewish Americans are left out in the cold? Apparently, their slogans only apply if you agree with the radical agenda.

This isn’t just a Michigan problem. It’s a warning for Jews—and anyone who cares about American values—across the country. The time has come to stop trusting empty promises from a party that has shown, time and again, it’s ready to throw its oldest supporters under the bus for the sake of globalist interests and woke headlines.

If even the Jewish Federation is rallying behind Mike Rogers, maybe Democrats should ask themselves: how many more voters are they willing to lose before they wake up?
