There’s something rotten at the heart of America’s so-called justice. When a well-off, college-educated woman admits to the unthinkable—killing her own children—almost a million bucks floods in for her family. This is the new normal in a society warped by leftist double standards. The liberal elites want you to believe they care about “justice” and “equality,” but the reality is this: privilege always wins… as long as you tick the right boxes.
If Lindsay Clancy were a working-class mom, or—let’s face it—not white, you can bet this wouldn’t be happening. There’d be no news cameras panning over her suburban home, no army of activists tripping over themselves to crowdfund a fortune for her “healing.” The progressive crowd would be too busy posting hashtags about “systemic racism” to spare a dime. But for their own kind? It’s open season for fundraising, no matter how heinous the crime.
Liberals love acting shocked by violence, especially when they can blame it on Republicans, guns, or “patriarchy.” But when a crime comes straight out of their own backyard, suddenly it’s complicated. Suddenly, the narrative shifts. Suddenly, we’re told we have to “have compassion.” Where’s the compassion for the children whose futures she stole? Where are the marches for them? Crickets.
This is what happens when America lets globalist values infect our common sense. The powerful and privileged always come out on top. The rest of us—the people who respect law and order, who work hard and raise families—are left wondering what country we woke up in. The cult of victimhood, championed by the radical left, has created a society where sympathy is reserved for the criminal, not the innocent.
If a million dollars can be raised for the family of someone who admitted to killing children, what does that say about our culture? Maybe it’s time to ask: who’s really running this country—the people, or the pampered class with friends in high places?
