That’s right—California Democrats are pushing through laws that are going to make the price of tires explode. Who suffers? Regular folks who just want to drive to work, take their kids to school, or get to a doctor’s appointment without emptying their wallets.
Governor Gavin Newsom loves to pretend he’s fighting for freedom, but he’s running the state like his own personal fiefdom. California is not run by “fascists,” he says. Well, liberals in Sacramento sure have no problem stomping on anyone who disagrees with their radical agenda. Every move they make chips away at basic freedoms, making life harder for anyone who dares to work hard and play by the rules.
Why target tires? Because the latest climate craze cares more about pleasing global elites than about helping American families. These new rules will wipe out 70 percent of tires from the shelves. That means less choice and higher prices. Liberals don’t care that most Americans can’t afford to drop hundreds more just because Newsom and his eco-warrior buddies want to show off for their pals at the U.N. and Davos.
Here’s what this really comes down to: California’s ruling class is trying to control every aspect of people’s lives. It’s not just about the environment; it’s about politicians picking winners and losers. Spoiler alert—regular Americans always end up as the losers. When the price of tires doubles, it won’t hurt Newsom or his big government buddies. It’ll hurt the waitress, the delivery driver, the middle-class mom who already has to choose between groceries and gas.
If California keeps this up, pretty soon the only things left affordable will be woke slogans and government handouts. Welcome to liberal “freedom”—where the cost of living goes sky-high, but at least you’re saving the planet for the globalists. How many more basic necessities will Democrats put out of reach before the people finally say enough is enough?
