German tourist shames liberal elites by rescuing dogs in the South while politicians do nothing

It seems like everywhere you look, America is overrun with folks who don’t appreciate our country, our traditions, or our communities. Just look at the news. But sometimes, it takes an outsider—a tourist from Germany no less—to remind us what common sense and real compassion look like. Freddy, wandering his way through the American South, managed to do something that liberal politicians and global elites can’t seem to figure out: he saw a problem and actually did something about it.

While the bleeding hearts in Washington love to talk about compassion, they usually mean higher taxes and handing over your freedoms to faceless bureaucrats. Freddy and his group, on the other hand, rolled into Ole Miss, saw a couple of dogs in trouble, and decided to lend a real helping hand. No fundraising dinners. No photo ops. Just action. That’s American spirit—even if it came from a German traveler.

If Freddy waited around for some leftist city council to intervene, those dogs would still be out there suffering. Instead, he relied on direct action, not useless government programs. Isn’t it telling that so many communities—riddled with socialist policies—continue to neglect the very people (and pets!) who need help the most? They’re too busy virtue-signaling on social media to actually make a difference.

Let’s not kid ourselves: the liberal playbook is all about empty words and flashy promises. Meanwhile, people like Freddy are out there proving you don’t need a mountain of regulations or an international summit to solve everyday problems. All it takes is guts and good sense—qualities the left seems to have lost a long time ago.

So, the next time you see some globalist hack lecturing Americans about what we “owe” society, remember Freddy and his crew. While politicians waste time debating nonsense, real people make America work—by doing, not whining. Maybe it’s time Americans start taking cues from tourists rather than listening to out-of-touch elites. Or is it just easier for the left to blame everyone else than roll up their sleeves and pitch in for once?
