Exposed union boss rakes in millions while blaming border crisis for failing schools

Randi Weingarten loves to call herself a champion of teachers and students. But last week, Americans learned just how much this “union boss” cares about her own wallet. While hardworking teachers barely manage to get by, Weingarten rakes in over half a million dollars every year. That’s right—she makes more than seven times what the average teacher takes home. Maybe that’s why she’s so out of touch with the parents and families she claims to represent.

You’d think with the country’s test scores plummeting, the head of the teachers’ union would be sounding the alarm about failing public schools. But Weingarten’s real outrage isn’t about kids falling behind in reading and math. No, she’s busy making noise about illegal immigrants, trying to blame our education woes on the border and anyone else but her union’s failed policies. Instead of focusing on what actually helps American students, she’s more interested in playing politics and shifting blame.

It’s the same old liberal playbook. When things go wrong, blame someone else—or better yet, distract the public with emotional grandstanding. The woke elites like Weingarten would rather defend open borders than admit liberal policies are destroying American education. While schools become safe havens for lawlessness and indoctrination, real achievement keeps getting pushed further out of reach for our kids. Parents know it. Teachers on the front lines feel it every day.

Let’s be real: when union leaders make more money than doctors and don’t deliver results, something is rotten in the system. The American Federation of Teachers is more worried about their salaries and political agendas than properly teaching math or reading. Is it any wonder that our schools keep failing—even as union bosses like Weingarten cash in? Liberals love to preach equality, but they’re the first to grab the cash and blame someone else when things go sideways.

America deserves better than greedy union bosses pointing fingers and making excuses. How many more decades will the left get away with this scam, while America’s children pay the price? At some point, the mask has to come off. The real question is: why do we keep letting these globalist, anti-American bureaucrats be in charge of our schools?
