America’s once-safe shopping malls are under threat yet again, thanks to weak leadership and failed leftist policies. News broke that an 18-year-old in Minnesota plotted to unleash terror at the iconic Mall of America—all in the name of ISIS. Instead of focusing on building up our families and communities, we now have to fear radical extremists lurking at places where our kids go to shop and grab a burger.
This isn’t just a “teen arrested.” This is what happens when liberals downplay the dangers at our doorstep. They’d rather talk about climate change or gender pronouns than admit Islamic extremism is alive and well—even recruiting American youth. It’s about time we wake up and stop pretending that open borders, lenient policing, and soft-on-crime mindsets are keeping us safe.
Let’s get real: Mall of America isn’t in some dangerous war zone, it’s in Minnesota. Yet we see American soil almost turned into a battlefield because our so-called leaders are more afraid of offending someone than protecting citizens. How many more warnings do we need before a tragedy shakes us awake? If this isn’t a wake-up call, what is?
Of course, the woke crowd will say Americans need to be more “understanding,” or that this is a lone wolf, or that we shouldn’t paint with a broad brush. Let’s stop pretending. Radical Islam is a threat. ISIS wants to destroy everything this country stands for.
