Once again, millions of Americans are staring down the barrel of a powerful hurricane. Tropical Storm Isaias isn’t taking its sweet time. The latest from the National Hurricane Center makes it clear—this storm is getting stronger, and it’s coming straight for the Gulf Coast. But while hardworking families prepare to weather yet another disaster, you can bet liberal politicians are already plotting how to blame it all on climate change, wring out another round of “emergency aid,” and boost their own power.
It never fails. Every time a hurricane threatens our shores, the left goes into overdrive. Instead of focusing on solid solutions—like hardening the grid, supporting local emergency services, and trusting communities to take care of themselves—they wag fingers from their ivory towers, scream about carbon emissions, and demand more government control. They don’t care about real families. All they see is another excuse to push globalist schemes, higher taxes, and more bureaucratic red tape.
Meanwhile, regular Americans are out there sandbagging, boarding up, and helping neighbors. That’s real American spirit—something you never find in a D.C. committee room or a Green New Deal think tank. The so-called climate experts love to spout theories, but when a storm threatens our people, their only answer is to throw money at the problem and hope it goes away. Hurricanes aren’t a new problem—ask any old-timer on the Gulf. But thanks to liberal do-nothing politics, we keep repeating the same mistakes.
Isaias might make landfall as a strong hurricane, but there’s no reason we have to get whipped by every storm that blows in. If our leaders actually cared, they’d stop shouting about “climate justice” and start building real resilience—stronger levees, better evacuation routes, smarter local plans. But that wouldn’t fit their narrative. Why build something lasting, when you can pump fear and rake in votes?
When the winds finally die down, don’t let the left spin this into their next man-made disaster. Let’s remember who keeps this country running strong—ordinary Americans with grit, faith, and common sense. Maybe it’s time our leaders stopped blaming the weather and started standing up for us. Or is that too much to ask in Biden’s America?
