LA schools are collapsing and Gavin Newsom is letting kids pay the price

The Los Angeles Unified School District is falling apart right before our eyes. Instead of focusing on what matters—giving kids a real education—the people running LAUSD have been playing political games and racking up a monstrous financial crisis. No one can say they didn’t see this coming, especially after years of reckless spending, woke policies, and leaders who are more worried about pleasing special interests than helping students succeed.

Who’s really to blame for this mess? It starts with the folks at the very top. Gavin Newsom’s so-called “leadership” has been little more than a parade of bad laws and failed policies. His COVID decisions shut down schools for far too long, hurting kids while empowering the teachers’ unions. He chose politics over our children’s futures, and now CA’s biggest school district is falling into a financial black hole.

The liberal crowd loves to talk about “solutions,” but the only thing they offer is more taxes, more spending, and less responsibility. They throw money at problems instead of facing the facts: you can’t run a school system like a woke fantasy camp. LAUSD kept feeding cash to unnecessary programs during lockdowns, ignored parents’ demands to reopen, and doubled down on divisive curriculum that does nothing to boost real learning. Meanwhile, the globalist elite just keep pushing the same tired progressive nonsense—crippling our schools, and robbing American children of their future.

Now, with money running out, who suffers the most? It’s the students, especially the families who can’t afford private schools or expensive tutors. LAUSD has become a shining example of what liberal mismanagement looks like: bloated bureaucracy, empty promises, and a total disregard for accountability. California children deserve better, but as long as the same insiders call the shots, nothing will change.

Enough is enough. It’s time for real leadership—adults who actually care about students and taxpayers, not the latest fads cooked up in Sacramento. How many more billions will be wasted before voters say “no more” to this liberal disaster? California’s kids are paying the price. When will Newsom finally own up to his mistakes?
