Los Angeles—once the shining city of the West—has turned into a ticking time bomb, and nobody on the left seems to care. The latest circus has America’s enemies joking about dropping a nuke on LA, but honestly, with how Democrats run things in that city, why would anyone need to bother? The next big disaster, like a wildfire or riot, will do the job just fine.
It’s no secret who’s to blame. Liberal leadership has managed to turn a world-class metropolis into a powder keg of incompetence. These so-called progressives ignore the real dangers—sky-high crime, tent cities, crumbling infrastructure—but roll out the red carpet for every trendy cause that makes headlines overseas. They slap “tolerance” stickers on their Teslas and pretend that’s enough to keep LA safe from the real threats, both foreign and homegrown.
When President Trump cracked wise about what Iran’s new regime should do, the left shrieked about “hate.” Here’s a reality check: If LA’s own leaders had any backbone, foreigners couldn’t get away with mocking the city. But voters get what they vote for—years of failed Democrat policies have made LA a national joke and an international target. The city is so poorly run, it could take itself out with the next preventable fire and save America’s rivals the trouble.
Meanwhile, the left obsesses over pronouns and virtue signaling. They won’t talk about what’s really burning down LA: reckless mismanagement, wild spending, criminal policies, and leaders who care more about globalist approval than the American people. The so-called progressives in charge seem determined to prove that big cities can be destroyed from within—no outside help necessary.
Face it: The way LA is run, it doesn’t need nukes or enemies—it needs to fire the liberal establishment running it into the ground. If Democrats keep calling the shots, the real question isn’t “if” disaster will strike… it’s when.
