The Democrats are in total panic mode. You know it’s bad when Barack Obama has to dust off his campaign shoes and rush to Michigan in the final stretch before the midterms. If the Democrats were so confident, why drag out their so-called “most popular” face to rescue a campaign that’s already sinking? The only reason to fly in the big guns is desperation — and they’re showing all their cards.
Here’s the kicker: Obama is headed there to campaign for Abdul El-Sayed, a man who has spent years slamming Obama’s own record. How’s that for Democrat loyalty? El-Sayed doesn’t just disagree with Obama on a few minor points. His entire agenda clashes with what Obama did as president. This is the left eating their own — and pretending it’s unity. Democrats love to accuse Republicans of division, but they can’t even put forward candidates who respect their former president.
It gets more embarrassing. Michigan is supposed to be a solid blue state. But every time Obama swoops in, he brings bad luck. Let’s not forget what happened to Hillary Clinton in 2016. Obama strutted around Michigan, thinking he could rally support with a few speeches. The result? Clinton lost the state, and we all know how the left reacted. Now, history looks ready to repeat itself as Democrats scramble to shore up support with black voters, a base they’ve long taken for granted.
The El-Sayed campaign is another example of Democrats running away from American values and diving headfirst into radicalism. Instead of fixing real issues — inflation, crime, border security — they focus on speeches, posturing, and blaming everyone but themselves. Globalist ideas are the new gospel in their party, and it’s costing them with average Americans who are tired of the phony promises.
It’s telling when Obama can’t even fix the mess his own party made. Maybe Democrats should spend less time on photo-ops and more time explaining why hardworking families are struggling. At this point, one has to wonder: Can even the mighty Obama save a party more focused on wokeness than winning?
