Coastal folks know how to take care of themselves – they prepare, they rebuild, and they don’t whine. Liberal politicians would rather pontificate on cable news than get their hands dirty helping Americans brace for impact. They’ll fly over disaster zones for their photo ops, then jet back to their safe DC offices, comforted by taxpayer-funded perks. It’s the regular American who faces the storm’s fury while the so-called experts keep pushing regulations that hurt our energy workers and leave us weaker in the face of natural disasters.
When the wind starts howling on Saturday and the storm surge rises, remember who actually cares about defending this country and who just talks a big game. Maybe if the Left put as much effort into disaster readiness as they do into blaming America, we’d be safer and stronger. The storm is coming—is Washington ready?
