Something is seriously wrong in Arizona, and the mainstream media barely bats an eye. Bernadette Greene-Placentia, a Democrat running for Congress in Arizona’s 8th District, claims she was sexually assaulted while fixing campaign signs in what’s supposed to be a safe suburb of Phoenix. This happened in broad daylight, in Sun City—hardly a crime-ridden neighborhood. Yet, instead of outrage and action, Democrats seem all too busy spinning narratives and making excuses.
This isn’t just another headline. It’s a glaring warning about what happens when progressive California-style policies trickle down to local law enforcement and border security in places like Arizona. Phoenix and its suburbs have become ground zero for crime, thanks to open borders and politicians more interested in virtue signaling than actually protecting their own citizens—let alone their political opponents.
It’s amazing, really: Democrats spend millions on leftist causes, radical policies, and securing illegal immigrants’ comfort, but when one of their own becomes the victim of violent crime, suddenly everyone is “investigating” and “taking it seriously.” Where was this outrage when regular Americans, Republicans, and Trump supporters have been attacked, mugged, or worse, just for displaying their beliefs or fixing a campaign sign? Silence. Or even worse, blame shifted onto the victims for being “divisive.”
Let’s not kid ourselves. This is what you get when you let Soros-backed prosecutors run the show and push catch-and-release laws. The streets become unsafe. Americans—no matter their party—are left vulnerable. And who profits? The globalist class, the bureaucrats, the self-appointed “experts” with their gated communities and armed security. Everyday Arizonans, whether Republican or Democrat, end up paying the price for failed policies crafted in air-conditioned offices in D.C.
Maybe now that horror has touched someone from their own party, Democrats will finally get serious about crime. But don’t hold your breath. They’d rather blame guns, pass more useless laws, and inject “equity” dogma into law enforcement than actually protect Americans. If Maricopa County can’t keep a congressional candidate safe hanging up a campaign sign, what chance does the average family have? How many more Americans have to suffer the consequences of liberal incompetence before we finally put common sense back in charge?
