Michael Tracey might not be a conservative superstar, but sometimes it takes someone outside the mainstream left to expose just how out-of-touch the elites have become. That’s exactly what happened in Ithaca at the so-called Common Council. Here was Tracey, a progressive by his own label, blowing the lid off the nonsense surrounding the Cornell case while the local government floundered in complete embarrassment.
Let’s remember—this is the same Michael Tracey who refused to swallow the Russia-collusion fairy tale that the left fed the American public for years. While most liberals locked arms, pushing phony scandals, Tracey dared to ask basic questions and dismantle their so-called “bombshells.” He’s inconvenient for the left when he doesn’t play along with their games.
But in Ithaca, Tracey lost his patience. That’s because the liberal authorities running the show can’t even handle basic reporting. They claim to stand for transparency and truth, yet they stonewall when an independent journalist starts poking holes in their narrative. This isn’t journalism—they want lapdogs, not watchdogs. They’re terrified when someone points out their hypocrisy and gross incompetence.
The problem is bigger than just Ithaca or Cornell. What we’re seeing is the result of years of leftist groupthink infecting every corner of our institutions. Liberals love to parade around as champions of free speech—until someone challenges their pet causes. Then it’s censorship, tantrums, and thin-skinned power plays. Instead of serving citizens, these council members serve their own egos and globalist interests.
If a progressive reporter can’t even get a straight answer out of a left-wing city council, what hope do the rest of us have? Americans deserve honest answers, not another con job disguised as government. Maybe it’s time more independent voices stood up to this liberal circus, because clearly, the grown-ups have left the room.
