America is finally seeing justice done. Nidal Hasan—the radical Islamist who murdered his fellow soldiers at Fort Hood—will face the most severe punishment possible: a firing squad. Yes, you read that right. The Pentagon has announced that Hasan’s execution is set for December 3 at the same Texas base where he carried out his horrific rampage. For too long, this terrorist has sat on death row, living on American taxpayers’ dime, while the families of his victims waited for real justice.
Let’s be honest—the left never wanted things to end this way. Liberal politicians and their activist buddies always jump to defend the “rights” of violent criminals while the innocent fall through the cracks. How many times have we heard that the death penalty is “cruel” or “outdated”? Well, tell that to the families torn apart by Hasan’s evil actions. This time, the Department of Defense isn’t playing around with feelings or international whining. Hasan picked the battlefield. Now he’ll get his ending—just like soldiers did in World War II when they betrayed their fellow countrymen.
Here’s what really makes the left squirm: the execution will be livestreamed. Americans won’t just hear about it secondhand—they’ll see justice with their own eyes. No closed doors. No bureaucrats hiding details. Those who preach about “restorative justice” are probably clutching their pearls right now. But why should the country cower just to avoid offending anti-American critics? Our enemies need to know that actions have consequences—and that Americans stand firm.
Of course, the pearl-clutchers and globalist elites will whine about “human rights” and “international image.” They love to call patriotic Americans racist or “Islamophobic” whenever someone dares to speak the truth about Islamist terror. While they’re busy searching for excuses, they forget about the heroes who bled and died for our way of life. Hasan declared himself a soldier of jihad, so he’s facing the music as a traitor and enemy combatant.
There’s a certain poetic justice in all of this. Hasan’s rampage ended the lives of brave American men and women at Fort Hood. Now, his life ends at the same place, in a way that sends a message even the most delusional leftist can’t ignore. Isn’t it about time America acted like a superpower and not a doormat for extremists and their apologists?
Watching real justice in action—shouldn’t that be the American way?
