Texas Democrats just can’t seem to keep their act together. James Talarico, one of their so-called rising stars, has disappeared from the campaign trail in Texas. His team claims he’s got the flu. Sure, everyone gets sick sometimes, but funny how he managed to make an appearance in New York when it mattered. So where was that Texas grit and commitment when his constituents needed him most? Nowhere to be found.
It’s what we’ve come to expect from the left: big promises, little action. Talarico hasn’t been seen in Texas since late September, yet somehow, a few days after his last local sighting, he’s fit enough to show up in the Big Apple. Why is a Texas politician suddenly popping up in New York and not doing his job for Texans? Could it be more fun to hang with the liberal elites in New York than face the hardworking people back home? Looks that way.
Democrats are quick to make excuses for their own, but what would they say if a conservative went missing like this? They’d be shouting about “dereliction of duty” from the rooftops. Instead, all we hear from Talarico’s camp is the same tired line—the flu made him do it. No accountability. No explanation for the sudden New York trip either.
This is just another example of liberal hypocrisy at work. Talarico and his friends talk endlessly about representing the people, but the moment things get tough, they duck out and cozy up with globalist pals in distant cities. While Texas voters struggle with crime, inflation, and a border crisis, their so-called champion is nowhere to be seen. People deserve leaders who show up, even when it’s inconvenient.
Americans are fed up with this charade from the left. If James Talarico can’t even keep up with his campaign trail in Texas, maybe it’s time he stop pretending to care about Texans at all. Is Texas just a stepping stone for Democrat politicians chasing national fame and donations in New York? Voters should remember who actually stands up and who just runs away.
