It’s outrageous how quickly some politicians twist the truth for their own agenda, while others hide behind empty speeches. Just look at the circus surrounding what happened after the Oct. 7 massacre in Israel. New York City’s so-called “progressive” Mayor Zohran Mamdani wasted no time attacking Israel, trying to paint the victims as the aggressors. His lies and smears earned him the backlash he deserved. But let’s not forget Governor Kathy Hochul, who’s just as guilty—if not more.
Mamdani’s attempt to justify evil acts is disgusting. He turns a day of horror into another excuse to push his anti-Israel, anti-American narrative. But while Mamdani is out in the open with his divisive rhetoric, Hochul acts like she’s taking the high road. She’ll say she supports Israel, but when the cameras are off, she bends her knee to the radical left that runs her party. Her speeches are just for show. When real leadership is needed, she’s nowhere to be found.
Liberals love pretending they care about justice, but they’re quick to cozy up to their far-left base when it gets them votes. Hochul knows exactly who butters her bread. Instead of calling out hate and lies, she plays both sides. This kind of cowardice is exactly why trust in government is evaporating. The governor should have stood up, called out Mamdani’s disgraceful disrespect, and reminded everyone who the criminals really were on Oct. 7. But she didn’t.
This is exactly what you get when you put globalist, elite Democrats in charge. They pander to the loudest extremists instead of standing up for truth, security, and American values. Ordinary citizens are left wondering where their leaders’ loyalties really lie. If our own leaders can’t stand up for common sense and basic decency, then what hope is there for public trust?
Maybe the fact that Mamdani and Hochul both get away with this charade is the real lesson here. Isn’t it time to demand politicians who care more about the truth and the people than about pleasing their radical donors?
