The White House just held another fancy summit, this time about artificial intelligence. And as usual, the people in charge walked away not solving real problems, but adding even more rules on top of the rules we already can’t stand. They call it a “voluntary governance accord” for AI companies, but make no mistake—this is about covering their backsides, not protecting regular Americans.
While elites pat themselves on the back for their new rules and outside auditors, American families see right through the smoke and mirrors. Bureaucrats in Washington love nothing more than telling us they “know best” and making more hoops for businesses to jump through. The big tech bosses just nod along because it keeps smaller players out and shields them from true competition. This is globalism at work. The average American doesn’t want more outside experts poking their noses into how things work—they want freedom and real solutions.
It’s clear that the left’s response to new technology isn’t to encourage innovation, but to hold it hostage to another web of red tape. Liberals claim they love progress, but all they ever do is slow it down with committees, accords, and more government control. Now they’re aiming to control not just what you say or how you spend your money, but the very future of artificial intelligence in this country.
What’s even more insulting is the way they blame “misinformation” for everything wrong in the world and then threaten to use AI as their personal truth police. Only the elite few get to decide what’s true and what’s false, while the rest of us are left to follow the rules or face their wrath. This is exactly how bureaucrats get richer and more powerful, while regular folks just get crushed.
America doesn’t need another layer of unelected, out-of-touch paper-pushers telling us how we’re allowed to innovate. We need to break the power of these self-important elites before they use AI to bury our freedoms for good. Why should government gatekeepers and their billionaire pals be the ones in charge of the future? Maybe it’s time for real Americans to take the power back—before it’s too late.
