Bronx ICE shooting exposes deadly cost of open borders as politicians look the other way

Another day, another example of chaos on our streets thanks to open borders and weak-kneed politicians. In the Bronx, an ICE officer was forced to open fire during an operation because, once again, the target wasn’t some harmless “undocumented immigrant” – he was a gang-linked illegal alien, according to Homeland Security. Now the suspect is in the hospital, but the bigger question hangs in the air: How many more times will New Yorkers be endangered before the left wakes up?

Let’s be clear. This isn’t about so-called “immigrant rights.” It’s about criminals crossing our borders, thumbing their noses at our laws, and bringing their gang violence to American neighborhoods. Bureaucrats in Washington sit in their fancy offices, telling us the border is “secure” while hardworking ICE agents are forced to patrol streets that politicians have let slip through their fingers.

New York’s politicians bend over backward to coddle illegal aliens, passing sanctuary laws and tying the hands of law enforcement. Maybe if city leaders spent half as much time protecting citizens as they do shielding criminals, ICE wouldn’t be in these dangerous situations in the first place. But these are the same liberals who call for defunding the police and pretend not to see the violence tearing their communities apart.

The so-called “progressives” love to cry racism whenever someone calls for real immigration enforcement. But what about the families living in fear because of these lawless gang members running free? Where’s the outrage for them? Liberals wring their hands for every criminal alien rounded up, but not a word for the victims of their crimes.

Every time an ICE agent has to unholster their weapon, it’s a direct result of failed leadership and an America-last agenda from those in power. If the left truly cared about public safety, they’d let ICE do its job without interference. So, how many more Americans have to pay the price before Democrats admit their open-borders fantasy is a complete and utter disaster?
