The city’s leadership is a disaster, and now we have folks like Nithya Raman, the darling of the Democratic Socialists of America, spewing hate and name-calling instead of doing her job. She’s throwing around wild accusations of “fascism” at the very people trying to keep order—the police. It’s ridiculous, dangerous, and proof that the progressive elite care more about their own ideology than the safety of normal citizens.
Instead of working with law enforcement, Nithya Raman and her socialist army choose to insult the men and women in blue. These are real heroes who get up every morning risking their necks to protect us all, even the same radicals who despise them. But for the far left, it’s easier to scream “liars” and “fascists” than to actually deal with crime, drugs, and lawlessness exploding in LA neighborhoods.
The chief of police in Los Angeles isn’t taking it lying down, and who can blame him? Watching politicians attack the thin blue line while crime spikes and communities suffer is beyond frustrating. Law enforcement is being blamed for the failures of incompetent liberal politicians who would rather chase virtue-signaling headlines than roll up their sleeves and solve real problems. The truth is these progressives demonize the cops, then turn around and beg for help when their soft-on-crime policies blow up in their faces.
Meanwhile, honest Angelenos are paying the price. Street crime is up, businesses are shuttering, families feel less safe, and it’s getting harder by the day to remember what made LA great in the first place. City Hall’s focus? Petty political vendettas, blame games, and handouts to activist groups. When will they admit their radical experiment is failing?
This is what you get with “democratic socialism”—chaos, disrespect for law and order, and a total lack of accountability. Maybe the only honest thing coming out of Nithya Raman these days is her open contempt for those who actually keep Los Angeles from total collapse. If this is progress, God help us! How much more can this once-great city take before voters finally say enough is enough?
